The 2013 Chrysler 300
The More Efficient 2013 Chrysler 300
Chrysler to me is like Buick in the fact that I wondered for years how they were still in existence. It seems though that Chrysler is working on a large campaign to reinvent itself as well as introduce a few new models for 2013 and 2014. For now Chrysler still doesn’t have much to choose from but they do have the 2013 Chrysler 300 and if you want a large sedan that can deliver luxuries as well as efficiency then look no further than the Chrysler 300 2013. The Chrysler Motor Company is working to deliver more efficiency throughout the entire range of vehicles for 2013 are seeing the company utilize the latest technologies in order to produce a massive sedan that starts off with nearly 300 hp and eight speed transmission that delivers up to 31 miles per gallon. For this luxury yacht to get 31 miles per gallon I would say is pretty impressive.
2013 Chrysler 300 V6 and V8
Chrysler has not only worked on the drivetrain for the 300 but has worked on installing luxury cues in the interior of the vehicle. When you sit in the driver’s seat see a lot of small chrome bezels as well as stitching and trim. Overall it looks nice and certainly better than other vehicles in the class. I personally am a stickler for detail and though I’m satisfied with the 300s interior still see typical dole Dodge plastic parts. Am I surprised, no not really as I consider the base 300 more of a rental car anyways. I do like some of the interior design work that they have done although I still don’t understand the need for cooling and heating cup holders. I mean sure this is a road trip vehicle but I wonder how much more cost those cupholders added to the price of my vehicle. If you currently have these cupholders then let us know if you use them or not and how well they work. As you go up in class for the 2013 Chrysler 300 more horsepower, the problem is that you lose the eight speed transmission and go back to a five speed. Good news is that you still get the all-wheel-drive version to make a great road trip vehicle especially when getting to inclement weather.
2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8
As for the SRT8 you still have 465 hp as well as those great bucket seats. As a result you have turned your land yacht into a land cigarette boat. There is something to be said about a luxury car that is full size drawing from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds. Whenever you need to get a quarter-mile down the street you can rest assured you’ll be there and 13 seconds. This car is insanely fast and good looking and I think the designers and engineers did their part in maintaining a halo car for Chrysler. It’s not known but it’s likely to see more updates and eight speed transmissions going into the V8 2013 Chrysler 300.
