Best SUV 2013 Edition
You can’t handle the truth of best SUV 2013
Easy, The Toyota Landcruiser Diesel with the Outback Dual-Tank Conversion is the best SUV, but if you live in America, home of the Import Hatred Agreement set by the state of California then these big gems are off limits so then let’s look at the other options for best SUV 2013. The SUV’s are a changin (Bob Dylan) and some for the better, like the 2012 Dodge Durango and then some for the worse, like the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. The fact is that we need to pick the best SUV 2013 and that is nearly impossible due to the fact that there are so many on the market these days and now there are so many variations that it’s just a mad house. Hey “NC42013” what about crossovers? You get the hell out of here, you’re the reason we have so many gender bending vehicles on the market today. (Takes a drink of scotch) Okay let’s take a look at the three categories of best SUV’s 2013.
Frugal and Efficient SUV’s
This is for smaller SUV’s that can still go off-road and yet still save you money at the pump. I’m afraid they are on car or transgender platforms but can still get you to the campsite as long as it’s a pay per campsite. This one is a tie as the 2013 Ford Escape and 2013 Toyota Rav4 have both gone to great lengths to tie this one up. Toyota always delivers strong reliability and residual and with it having a redesign for 2013 it will hopefully be placing in around 32 MPG’s. The 2013 Ford Escape will have several different options as you can go for mileage or power and with the 1.6L or 2.0L Ecoboost you get 3,500 Lbs towing (Same as a Wrangler) and you get a decent mileage with either one. Plus all the electronic issues with Mytouch will
finally be solved hopefully be solved.
Regular Unleaded (now with diesel)
This is for the homies that role deep in rocks and shit. I am talking about regular size SUV’s that can go into soft sand, over big rocks and get you out of a predicament whenever you decide to drive in the pond at the Music Festival or show your boys up at the camp site after having injected yourself with several cans of liquid courage. 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the pick because it can go where you need it to and get you there comfortably. Plenty of options from under thirty thousand for a 4×4 to 470 Hp for a AWD that eats small children. And now word is that we have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel on the way!
Money no option SUV
This is why I choose the Toyota Landcruiser!
The first choice diesel Landcrusier of course but since we can’t get that here we need to look at what we can get. This can take you from the ski slopes to the mountain tops and depreciation and gas mileage is of no concern because if it was then this would not be picked. Also no maintenance costs or anything that has to do with money is concerned at all. Still the 2013 Toyota Landcruiser, it’s just timeless and is so damn reliable that you simply just pass it down the family as the previous owners die off, kinda like a Parrot that you just can’t choke to death. But there is nothing new about it, yeah I know because it doesn’t need to be changed.
Best SUV 2013 Conclusion
These are the top picks for Best SUV 2013 if you want to know about crossovers then come back much later when I get to those. If you need to know what to get now, then blindfold yourself and go point at anything in a Toyota parking lot and you will be good.
